Recover Your Windows Password With Linux

Sometimes you often forgot your Windows XP password. In that case you can try and get your Windows XP password by using the power of Linux to reveal that password so that you can get back to work. It is much simpler and easy than you think.

You just have to download the Ophcrack Live CD which is a version of Linux that is designed specifically to boot from a CD and to change your Windows XP passwords. You will find that the download is an .iso file which is a form of virtual CD.
You just have to burn the .iso file to a CD. If you have a Mac and Linux system, you can burn an .iso file easily. All you have to do is just right click the file and then click "Burn Image to Disc."

You have to insert the CD into your computer and reboot it. Always remember that your computer should boot from the Live CD automatically; if it does not restart your computer, just follow the on-screen instructions for entering the boot menu.
Now you just have to wait for your CD to boot. When it will, the Ophcrack will be displayed on screen. Just you have to select the account that you are trying to crack and just click the "Crack" button. This Ophcrack program will work on by figuring out your password and then it will reveal it to you.

Therefore, with this Linux method you can easily recover your Windows XP password. You can also use this method for other versions of Windows.
