Bing Launches New Campaign

All new Microsoft’s Give With Bing campaign on Internet is promising that 5p will be donated to Sport Relief for every ten searches that will be made by using the Bing search engine. But the main drawback is the donations will only be made if the user is running Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser.

If you visit the ‘Give With Bing’ site to find out more about the charity campaign, you have to use 6, 7 or 8 versions of Internet Explorer as they are only valid. You also need to download the latest version of Internet Explorer. If you want to participate, you also need to ensure that you should have a Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system.

Microsoft itself has made it very difficult for those who are using Firefox, Google Chrome or even running Bing searches on a Mac computer to contribute to the charity fund. It can be the point that Microsoft is focusing more on promoting their new search engine and continuing the success of Internet Explorer, which is currently the market leader over rival browsers such as Google Chrome. No matter what is the situation, this big step from Bing’s side will definitely bring a welcome change.
