AT&T dodges into Wi-Fi smart phone race



If you are baffled with the increasing number of smart phones available in the market and the countless features they offer, its time to take a break. According to a latest report, U.S broadband service provider AT&T is all set to release its latest version of smart phone for users with a fetish for hi-end tech gadgets. The new range of smart phones from the networking giant is expected to score over ordinary Wi-Fi equipped smart phones already available in the market.

According to PC magazine, the two models called “Palm Pre Plus” and “Pixi Plus” from AT&T is speculated to be similar in technical specifications as compared to the earlier models of Wi-Fi supported smart phones sold on eBay. The major difference in these two models, leaving aside their advanced Wi-Fi features, includes a Wi-Fi cellular radio, GPS, and a fully loaded Bluetooth 2.1 that makes sharing as real fun for the users.

The new Wi-Fi smart phones from AT&T are expected to draw a huge rush of customers, according to market experts. With a mammoth 16GB of storage facility, these super phones can store complete movies and entire collections of play lists of your favorite singers. To top it up, AT&T will also be offering a variation of both devices with a blue back plate additional to its standard black and metallic cover options.

Priced at $149.99 for the Pre Plus and $49.99 for the Pixi Plus with $100 mail-in rebates and two-year service warranty, these Wi-Fi equipped smart phones are expected to be chart toppers of the coming days.
