Install Volume Shadow Copy In Windows XP



Often you will find that a Volume Shadow Copy is a component of Windows XP operating system. This component helps to preserve and protect data loss on a network which utilizes Windows Server 2003 or later.

Always remember that a Volume Shadow Copy is automatically installed as part of your Windows XP installation. But if your file is somehow disabled or damaged, you can quickly reinstall another copy by downloading it from Microsoft. If you want to download it, you can follow this method, so that you can install it very easily.

Firstly just download your Volume Shadow Copy from Internet and save it on your desktop. Secondly try to double-click on the file to begin your installation process. Remember to reboot your computer to complete the installation. Now just open your "Start" menu, click on "Run" and type in "services.msc" there.

Lastly, just try to scroll through all the alphabetized list of installed services. You will find that your Volume Shadow Copy should be near the bottom by confirming that it has been successfully installed. These steps will install your shadow copy very easily into your Windows XP.
