Delete Programs In Windows Vista

Some times when you are thinking to delete a program in Microsoft Windows Vista, you will find it a bit different from the process in the previous versions of Windows. As with Windows Vista, Microsoft introduced the "Programs and Features" icon in the Control Panel instead of the older "Uninstall Programs" icon in XP and other versions. But you find the process for deleting programs in Windows Vista is simpler. You just need to follow some few steps that are needed to clear your Windows Vista system of unwanted programs and clutter.

• Firstly just click the "Start" button on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. In your menu that slides up, you should see the "Control Panel" icon to the right. Just click on it.

• Secondly just select the "Programs and Features" icon in the Control Panel, this will open a window.

• Thirdly just click the program that you want to delete from the "Uninstall or Change a Program" window that opens. Remember that it will be highlighted with a blue bar after selection and at the top of the screen, select "Uninstall."

• Fourthly just click on "OK" when Vista asks you if you are sure you want to uninstall the program.

• Now just allow Vista to uninstall the program. It will depend on how the program was installed, it may then run through its own wizard, during which it will prompt you with the question saying "Do you want to completely remove the selected application and all of its features?” Then just click "Yes."

• Lastly just reboot your system this will clear your system cache and any other system resources that the deleted program was using.

By following these steps you can delete some programs in Windows Vista.
