New Firmware keeps corporate Wi-Fi networks secure

In a recent step to boost up corporate Wi-Fi network access, security firm Secpoint recently launched a new firmware security device called Portable Penetrator PP3000. This one-of-a-kind gadget coupled with firmware V7.5 allows wireless vulnerability scanning of corporate networks spanning hundreds of IP addresses simultaneously.

This ready out-of-the-box Wi-Fi security unit is based on a superior technology already available with Dell Inspiron Mini 10v net book. According to Secpoint CEO Victor Christiansen, the new firmware is programmed in such a way so as to safeguard corporate computers connected to external networks from falling short of various security breaches.

Once you start up the device, the Portable Penetrator provides names of all the identified networks in Wi-Fi corporate network range, the types of encryption used, their possible signal strengths and the number of users connected to the network. After activation a corporate user can easily manage their Wi-Fi pathway and provide access or apply denial of service as and when needed.

The device supports up to 50 languages to make it truly global in character. With this new Portable Penetrator running on advanced firmware, now users connecting to Wi-Fi networks can collate all their vital information into one single document
The new Wi-Fi security device is surely going to be one great professional help to corporate clients. Priced at € 999, the new security device represents an unbeatable value for money.
