Set Up Your Own Wi-Fi With Windows Vista


Computer and Internet are best friends as they go hand in hand. But sometimes some software applications work perfectly fine without an Internet connection while others cannot work without one. When you get a new computer, or you move to a new home or office, you definitely need to set up your computer's Internet connection.

Do you know that you can easily set up a wireless Internet connection that is a Wi-Fi connection on a computer which has Windows Vista? All you have to do is just follow these simple steps to set up your own Wi-Fi network with Windows Vista.

• Firstly, just click on the "Start" button on the lower-left side of your computer screen.
• Secondly you have to click on the "Control Panel." This step will open your Control Panel in a new window.
• Thirdly, just try to click on "Connect to a Network" to bring up the Connect to a Network dialog box.
• Fourthly you have to click on the "Show" button in the drop-down menu and select "All."
• Fifthly you have to click on the "Refresh" button, which appears on the right and is represented by two arrows, one pointing up and the other pointing down.
• Sixthly just select the network that you want to use.
• Seventhly just click on the "Connect" option. With this step Windows Vista will use this network to connect to the Internet.
• Lastly try to enter your password if you are prompted to do so.
