Recover Your Lost Files In Windows XP

When you are using Windows XP Home edition, you often accidentally delete a folder in ‘My Documents’ section and you expect that you will be able to rescue the contents from the Recycle Bin in the usual way. But the problem is when you click on the Recycle Bin, you find it empty. Therefore, you have to use some other way to recover the files.

Always remember the most important thing is stop using the computer. When the documents are emptied from the Recycle Bin, they are not deleted at once; they are merely removed from the index of files that are kept on the hard disk. All these marks the space that is available for new files, so the more you do with the computer, greater is the chance that the information gets overwritten in your Windows XP.

There are some programs that can scan hard disks and USB memory keys for the traces of these files and then return them to their previous location. You just have to download and install Recuva Portable onto a USB key by using a different computer which is using Windows XP. With this software you can recover your lost files in Windows XP.
