AT&T Creates A New Wave With Wi-Fi



AT&T is creating a new wave with Wi-Fi as customers are increasingly using Wi-Fi connections. AT&T reported that its customers have made a record of 85.5 million connections to the Internet in 2009 by using AT&T's Wi-Fi network that is four times of Wi-Fi connections made up in 2008.

AT&T offers the nation's most advanced mobile broadband experience which expects that Wi-Fi usage will continue to swell more as customers are utilizing Wi-Fi on their smart phones and integrated devices. Wi-Fi is included with their service.
Numerous customers are choosing Wi-Fi as its connection is simple, reliable and fast. Wi-Fi enabled smart phones and other integrated devices are gaining more popularity each day, so connections from these devices now comprises AT&T's Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi usage has increased as more and more users and businesses are discovering its benefits. Even hotspot usage is also blooming up and research shows that this will continue since the number of Wi-Fi capable devices and hotspot venues is increasing. Wi-Fi access has become easier than before with carriers like AT&T.
A recent AT&T survey showed that about 43 percent of AT&T Wi-Fi users access an AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot, four or more times per day.AT&T's Wi-Fi network complements wired broadband and wireless 3G networks by offering a Wi-Fi connectivity to more than 20,000 U.S. hotspots which even includes retail stores and restaurants.
