Delete Those Temporary Files From Windows Vista

When you use Windows Vista in your computer, you will find a very useful "Disk Cleanup Tool" which cleans up those temporary files from your computer. This option also allows you to remove a wide variety of temporary and cached files that you no longer need in Windows Vista.

Most applications remove all those temporary files automatically once you have closed the software down, but in some cases trails can be left behind. By removing those files, you can create some extra disk space and keep your system in good condition.

To start with it, load the Run box by pressing WINDOWS KEY + R, then type "cleanmgr" and click OK. Select the drive that you wish to clean up. Generally drive "C:" is your primary drive where temporary files will be located. Then just click OK once you have done this. This may take a few moments while your cleanup software scans your drive for files that are safe to remove.

After this you can then select all the temporary file types that you wish to remove. Select the file types. When you have selected the file types you want to remove, just click OK.

You will then be prompted to confirm whether you are sure about the deletion. If you are sure, click Delete Files. This Disk Cleanup Tool will remove all the selected files and will close successfully reclaiming some disk space.
